B.A.G. Films & Media Ltd. proudly announces the launch of ‘Mitwa…Phool Kamal Ke’ on Star Plus. Starting on May 27, 2009 the show shall be aired from Monday to Friday at 7:30 pm in the evening on Star Plus. ‘Mitwa…Phool Kamal Ke’ is a love story set against the backdrop of caste-ism and gender bias.

The story is based in a small town of Ambakhedi in North India, where the rules, rituals, customs & traditions are governed by Chaudhary Maamchand, who is the unsaid King of Ambakhedi and no one can dare to go against his word else the consequence is extreme & ruthless.

In such a hostile premise, an innocent love story begins to bloom when a boy from a lower caste & a girl from a high caste fall in love. And as destiny would have it, this girl happens to be the daughter of Maamchand Chaudhary’s family.

Starring Shahbaaz Khan, Tanvi Bhatia, Mohit Malhotra among others, the show promises to bring alive the true face of a society riddled by the caste divide and the intricately intertwined human relationships therein.
