Ms. Anuradha Prasad Shukla, Promoter and Chairperson and Managing Director

Ms. Anuradha Prasad Shukla is a distinguished media entrepreneur, a visionary leader, and a renowned figure in Indian entertainment. Serving as the Promoter, Chairperson, and Managing Director of B.A.G Films and Media Limited, she has significantly shaped the Indian media landscape. With a Master’s Degree in Political Science from Delhi University, Ms. Shukla embarked on her illustrious media career at PTI, later holding pivotal roles at the Observer Channel and BBC Network’s Network East.

Over two decades, Ms. Shukla has established herself as a multifaceted media personality, excelling in producing, directing, scripting, reporting, and anchoring television programs. Many of her creations, under the B.A.G Films banner, have become household names, including iconic shows like *KHUL JA SIM SIM*, *KOI JAANE NA & RUBA-RU*, *CHALTI KA NAAM ANTAKSHRI*, *KUMKUM – PYARA SA BANDHAN*, *HAQEEQAT*, and more. Her innovative approach to content has solidified her influence in the industry.
Under her leadership, B.A.G Films expanded into broadcasting with the launch of channels like News 24 (a prominent Hindi news channel), E24 (an entertainment channel), and Dhamaal 24 (FM radio network). These ventures further solidified her influence in the Indian media landscape.

Beyond her creative endeavours, Ms. Shukla has earned numerous awards and accolades, most notably the “Pt. Haridutt Sharma Award” for Journalism, Writing, and Social Services, presented by the Vice President of India, the Whirlpool Great Women Award and the Kalpana Chawla Excellence Award, recognizing her contributions to media and her role as a trailblazer for women in the industry. Her contributions have positioned her as a leading figure in Indian television and media.

Ms. Shukla also plays a significant role in industry associations, serving as the President of the Association of Radio Operators for India (AROI) and contributing to committees such as CII and FICCI Entertainment. She is a board member of the Uttaranchal Film Development Council and an executive member of the Film Producers Guild of India.

Mr. Shukla with 28 years of experience in business excellence and strategy frameworks, commercial and business operations, business sustainability, brand development and positioning, financial metrics, budget management, risk management, General management consultancy, implementing Organizational control systems and corporate performance management solutions stakeholder management among others.

Mr. Arshit Anand is a Non-executive Independent Director of the Company. Mr. Arshit Anand is a known practicing lawyer in Supreme Court of India and other forums in Delhi. With 9 years of experience in his field, he has specialisation in Constitutional law, Companies law, Insolvency & Bankruptcy Code, Communication Law, Arbitration Law, Mines Law and Criminal Law. He has been associated with the Chambers of Mr. P.S. Narasimha, Former Additional Solicitor General of India. He is a graduate from Amity Law School, Noida and is presently associated with a Delhi based law firm namely Agarwal Law Associates whose partner is renowned lawyer Mr. Mahesh Agarwal and Mr. Rishi Agrawal.

MR. CHANDAN KUMAR JAIN, INDEPENDENT DIRECTOR

Mr. Chandan Kumar Jain is a Non-executive Independent Director of the Company. Mr. Chandan Kumar Jain, aged 64 years, a retired IRS Officer is now a practising lawyer in Delhi. He completed his studies from Patna University and began his professional carrier as a Probationary Officer in a Nationalised Bank in the year 1985 and thereafter, worked as Grade ‘A’ officer in National Bank of Agriculture & Rural Development (NABARD) for a few years.

In the year 1990, Mr. Jain took the civil services examination & after having been selected in the examination, joined the Department of Central Excise & Customs under Central Board of Excise & Customs (CBEC) under the Ministry of Finance, Government of India in the year 1992. He served the Indian Revenue Department for a period of nearly 30 years. He also served as Officer on Special Duty (OSD) to the Ministry of Communication and IT. With more than 30 years of experience in the field and specialisation in Income Tax, Direct and Indirect Tax, Company law and Communication Law, Mr. Jain is an authority in finance, revenue, taxation and legal domain.

Ms. Anamika Sood is a Non-executive Independent Director of the Company. Ms. Anamika Sood completed her master’s degree in Literature and Education from Maharshi Dayanand University, Rohtak, Haryana. Ms. Sood began her career at Delhi Public School in 1998, taking on various roles, including academic coordinator. Ms. Sood is an academician and her expertise extends beyond academics, encompassing a profound passion in the field of Arts and Media. Her wide-range of experience includes corporate governance, general management consultancy, academic performance management solutions, environment, sustainability and corporate social responsibilities.

Mr.Sanjeev Kumar Dubey, Non-executive Director

Mr. Sanjeev Kumar Dubey is a Non-executive Director of the Company, aged 65 years, is an acclaimed Senior Advocate of the Hon’ble High Court of Delhi and is an active legal practitioner, arguing council Court of Law. Mr. Sanjeev completed his Master’s degree in Organic Chemistry from Kanpur University and LL.B. degree from University of Delhi. Mr. Sanjeev Kumar Dubey enrolled as an Advocate with Delhi Bar Council in the year of 1987 and started practicing in various branches of Law in Delhi Courts, particularly Supreme Court and High Courts. Mr. Dubey, as a lawyer, represented central government organizations, Public Sector Undertakings before various High Courts and the Supreme Court of India. With more than 35 years of experience in his field, he has specialisation in Constitutional law, Company law, Insolvency & Bankruptcy Code, Communication Law, Family Law, Arbitration Law, Mines Law, Criminal Law and allied laws.
